About Corinne
Corinne has been supporting women from motherhood to menopause for over thirty years. She is a certified Birth Doula, E-RYT500 Yoga Teacher, and Yoga Teacher Trainer. She founded Lotus Moon Yoga in 2006 to help women and their families have empowered births by learning specific techniques, such as yoga and yoga breathing. She also guided women in their healing journey postnatally through yoga by teaching them techniques to strengthen their pelvic floor and to have a positive relationship with their bodies.
A few years ago, Corinne was experiencing some hormonal shifts herself, and through conversations with several clients, she learned that she was not alone. Corinne did extensive research on different styles and methods of yoga and how the sacred practice could help with these hormonal symptoms, such as infertility, PMS, heavy or irregular bleeding, hot flashes, night sweats, foggy brain, and more. Through this research, she discovered Hormone Yoga Therapy (HYT).
Hormone Yoga Therapy is popular in Brazil and parts of Europe and is only now making its way to North America. In 2017 Corinne traveled to Santiago, Chile, to study with its founder, Dinah Rodrigues. Corinne has been traveling across Canada, teaching this unique method to hundreds of women and in early 2020, she taught workshops in Los Angeles, and she was a guest presenter at the Northwest Yoga Conference in Seattle.
Since the pandemic, Corinne has shifted her instruction of HYT to an online platform, where women from around the world can now learn the HYT method. The program is user-friendly, and it is set up as a learn at your own pace course, with Corinne being available for support as women learn to balance their hormones naturally.
In addition, Corinne has been offering Yoga Wellness Retreats for women, since 2016.
We practice yoga, hike, eat delicious food, connect, and simply BE. Including ample time to relax and rejuvenate.
Corinne is the mother of four adult children and one grandchild. When Corinne is not busy with her yoga teaching, she spends time with her husband of 40 years. Together they love to travel and spend time outdoors in the company of family and friends.
